MADI warmly welcomed its graduates

On the first Saturday of April a traditional reunion day took place in MADI.

Hundreds of graduates came to their alma mater to see their friends and professors. This meeting was especially looked forward to, because last year for the first time in many years it was not held because of the pandemic.

At noon there was a meeting with the Heads of the University, deans of the faculties and a concert prepared by the students of MADI student club.

Andrei Keller, acting rector, opened the event:

"MADI is a unique institution of higher education that meets the staffing needs of transport and road economy of the whole country. And for many decades, it has been doing it in a very qualitative way. Today we face an important task, which is to join the strategic programs for the development of Russian universities and, moreover, to become the flagship of the innovative development of the national higher education system. We will do our best to fulfill this task!» - said Mr. Keller.

Graduates, along with teachers, staff and students, laid flowers at the monuments of the Teacher and MADI students who fell in battle for their homeland during the Great Patriotic War. Guests got acquainted with innovative scientific developments and engineering projects of employees and students of the university, communicated with the developers, took pictures and visited their departments and faculties.

Dear graduates, come and visit us more often - MADI is always waiting for you!
