Post-graduate student won presidential grant competition

The tender commission of the Ministry of Education and Science has approved the application of Sergei Eruslankin, postgraduate student of the Department of Transport Vehicles of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty. 

Sergey Eruslankin's bid “Theoretical and experimental support for increasing the cross-country ability of road-trains with active trailer unit based on switched reluctance electrical machinery” is related to the priority area of modernization of the Russian economy “Energy efficiency and energy saving, including the development of new fuels”.

This year the Ministry of Education and Science and the Presidential Grants Council accepted a record number of applications for presidential grants - 3181. The winners were 587 young scientists and post-graduate students, engaged in research and development in the priority areas of modernization of the Russian economy.
