Students help local communities

“The Snow Mission” is an annual all-Russian patriotic action where students from different universities go to remote locations in Russia to help people in need. During the winter student vacations, the students, led by the commander and the commissar, go to villages close to large cities with volunteer and social missions. The Snow Mission squads provide assistance to local communities: WW2 veterans, single pensioners, kindergartens and schools; they also give university education orientation and promote healthy lifestyle.
In Moscow Snow Missions have been on for last four years, and MADI students have been active participants ever since.
