Students and young scientists compete in the National Technology Initiative

In 2019, the department “Machine Parts and Theory of Mechanisms” helped students and young scientists to prepare for the competition “UMNIK” of the Innovation Promotion Fund. In January - April 2019, at the 77th MADI Scientific and Research Conference and the Student Research Conference, 6 applications were selected for participation in the semi-finals of the competition for grants of the National Technological Initiative.
Associate Professor Alexey Marusin went to the finals and on November 28 presented his work “Development of software for evaluating the effectiveness of the operation of automatic systems for recording of administrative offences” at the UMNIK-Autonet site in MADI. Teaching Assistant D. Simonov and student M. Gaidar became the finalists of the UMNIK Technet contest and made presentations at the site at the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. The results of the final selection will be announced in February 2020. Winners will receive grants in amount of 500 thousand rubles.
